C.J.'s Sing-a-Long

C.J. has been singing a new song on his own just about every day this week. Monday was 'Angels We Have Heard on High'. Today was 'I Love to See the Temple'. Yesterday, he snatched the Children's Songbook from my primary bag and went to town. He loves it. I may need to buy him his own.

At the end he says, "The end," but it cuts off...

Let's Go Fly a Kite

Chris had a few cancellations at the end of the day, so we took advantage of MH's spring weather. Armed with a cheap-o Toy Story kite from Dollar Tree, we were prepared to teach C.J. all about running with the kite and throwing it up high while someone else holds the string. Yup. We forgot we live in MH where no one prepared us for the 'Chicago of the Western U.S.' fun fact before our arrival. No running, no jumping, hardly any work at all. In fact, if C.J. could have held on tighter to the string, he would have blown away. It was delightful.

Easter

Due to 9 am church, the Easter Bunny decided it would be best to come during nap time. Good call.

We then went to the temple, where the local institute choir was putting on an outdoor concert. C.J. had a hard time paying attention since it turned out to be more of a musical scripture kinda thing, so we walked/ran around the temple for a bit before heading back home. As you can see, C.J. was very attached to his car from the Easter Bunny.
