I know, I know. It's been way too long since I posted last. On the bright side, it hasn't been a full six months. Here are some pictures of what we have been up to -
C.J. drew a face on my sun at the park. This was the first time I had ever seen him do this. 5/29
We got keys to our first house! 6/2

C.J., Cash, Brook, and Chris rode in a fire truck for the parade 7/4
We went to the Elmore County Fair...I've got to admit, we've been to our 'fair' share of them and while it was cute...it was slightly pathetic. It hit me one more time that we live in the middle of nowhere. We still had plenty of fun though! 7/18
C.J. was terrified of the tractors (he used to love them and even has his own toy tractor, but I guess seeing one up close and personal and let's face it, gigantic, was a bit too much) but he sure loved the golf cart turned helicopter!
C.J. 'explored' the new house 7/24
Pirate C.J. 7/27
We tried camping in our backyard during Labor Day weekend...we lasted until about 10 or 10:30 when Chris and I realized we were never going to sleep. Someone was way too excited. 8/31
I realize this is not the most flattering picture of me, but I couldn't help but to share.
One bonus for living in the middle of nowhere? The 'gigantic crowds of people' at the air show were not actually all that bad! Or at least, we're used to worse... 9/20
I was tickling him in a meager attempt at trying to get this tired boy to smile.
C.J.'s favorite parts of the day: riding on the school bus, staring at
this in the sky,
his earmuffs,
and exploring in this huge plane (he still talks about it).
We put the tent up in the living room for General Conference (aka Pajama Church). C.J. of course, never wanted to get out. 10/5
